Halloween and a New Home

Halloween 2013 was a little crazy!  It was move in day to our new home.  We moved in the morning and trick or treated that evening.  It was the perfect night to be able to go around and meet all the new neighbors.  We're excited about the new neighborhood and hope we make some forever friends here.

For Halloween Marin was a kitty cat (her favorite animal).  She wore my costume from when I was a little girls that my mom made.  I think it looks pretty good for homemade and 30+ years old.  I remember loving this costume and crawling around and meowing like a cat when I put it on.  As soon as I put it on Marin she started doing the same thing!  She even decided the pumpkins should be a cat and mouse.

Marin Turns Three

For her first birthday in Auburn, we decided to have a tailgate themed birthday party before the Mississippi State game.  We all had a lot of fun.  I made an Aubie cake, but Marin was too shy to blow out the candles!

Football Season

Our rental home was in walking distance to campus, so we couldn't have asked for a better location for football season!  We had so much fun walking to games and Toomer's Corner for celebrations.  We definitely chose a great season to move back to Auburn.  We were able to go to every home game in 2013, and it was filled with football memories that we'll never forget.  Mark went to the Texas A&M game, so Marin and I watched it on TV.  As soon as we won, we ran up to Toomer's Corner to celebrate.  The Georgia and Alabama games that season were just unbelievable.  I'll never forget the feeling in that stadium after the win against Alabama.  Marin had fun going to Tiger Walks and doing the March Around the Stadium with the band.  She would march right along the band and try to follow them all the way into the stadium.

Grayton Beach

We spent a week at Grayton Beach with four other families.  There were eight kids under one roof.  Yes, it was crazy, but they loved it!  Marin had a lot of fun just playing in the sand with her friends.  The house had its own pool, so we spent a lot of time in there too.  We are thankful for great friends and these memories.
