Easter

We went to Montgomery for Easter again this year.  Saturday night Troy and Heather were there with Ethan and Evyn.  The kids had so much fun chasing each other around on the golf course.  We headed to church Sunday morning.  Marin was clapping and bright eyed with all the beautiful music and then about 10 minutes into it she fell asleep for the rest of the service.  She slept in Baba's lap the whole time.  I would have never thought she would sleep through all that.  After church we went to the club for lunch and then back to the house to nap and be lazy. It was so pretty that day, so I put Marin in her bathing suit and let her play in the backyard with bowls filled up with water.  She had such a fun visit with Baba and Fly Daddy!

 Someone was not happy that she couldn't go swimming in the fountain before church.

 Marin wasn't really in the picture taking mood.  I think she 

wanted to go back to sleep; we tried anyway!

Ross Bridge Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood put on a little Easter egg hunt for all the kiddos.  Marin liked it after she figured out why we were pushing her around and telling her what to do.  She only got two eggs in her basket before all the big kids rounded up all the other eggs.  It was just a nice afternoon visiting with friends and seeing all the little ones dressed up.

The Blue Angels

Marin hates loud noises!  She will even run and hug my leg if we're inside the house and she hears the garbage truck or a lawn mower.  So what do we do?  Take her to an air show!!!  It was a pretty Saturday, and Marin's cousins called and said they were headed to Tuscaloosa for the air show, so we decided to join them.  It was something fun and different.  She really didn't mind the loud noises too much.  She just held on tight and put her head down on my shoulder when it got really loud.  It was a fun day outside!

 I think their favorite part may have been sharing snacks.

 We taught her to cover her ears if it got too loud!  Now she does this with every little noise.

She was talking about the airplanes the whole way back.
