Mother's Day

I feel so blessed and thankful to be Marin's mommy!  She is really the sweetest little girl.  We have some good times just hanging out together.  These pictures were taken on our back porch at our rental house in Auburn.

A Golden Friend

Marin and Asher have been best buddies since they met.  They just love each other.  Now that we have all moved apart, they don't get to see each other often, but they still mention each other and the memories they share almost daily.  Before they moved back to Florida, we had a lake weekend together complete with fishing!

Easter 2013

We spent another beautiful Easter in Montgomery.

Move to Auburn

Mark accepted a new position with Wells Fargo, and we have moved to Auburn.  We have really enjoyed being so close to campus and even being able to walk to baseball games.  Marin adores Aubie and he's her favorite part of any sporting event.

Gymnastics

Marin took gymnastics in Birmingham and she had so much fun!  She loved everything about it, especially Coach Jen and the trampoline!

Mommy's Birthday Celebration

There's no other way I'd rather spend my birthday than some family fun.  We had never been to the Vulcan, so we decided to go visit it.  Marin thought it was pretty neat... so so so tall.  It was cold on top, but there are some beautiful views.  Afterwards, we warmed up with some of our favorite pizza at Davenport's in Mountain Brook.  Then we went home for some homemade birthday cake by MARK! YUM!!!

Christmas Day

This Christmas was so simple and fun.  I hope we have many years where we can still keep Christmas simple and not about all the presents.  The only thing Marin asked for this year was candy canes.  They are her favorite!!!  So, she got lots of candy canes in her stocking.  After opening presents we had a nice brunch with some neighborhood friends.  This is the best bunch of friends!  After that we went to Montgomery for Christmas with Baba and Fly Daddy.  Marin's exciting present was her very own kitchen.
