Happy Birthday!

Marin had a fun second birthday at the Wald Park Playground in Vestavia.  All the kids had fun, which gave the parents a chance to visit too.  Ever since her party, Marin has been all about birthdays!  She loves to sing happy birthday and pretend to give birthday presents and of course she talks about birthday cake!

Oak Mountain Petting Zoo

I am very behind on this blog!  I'm going to attempt to catch up in the next few posts!  These pictures are from a trip we took to the Oak Mountain Petting Zoo.  Marin had a special connection with one particular goat and she thought the rooster was too loud!

She spotted her special goat.  There was a whole field of goats and she chose this one

 that was standing all alone.

Fuzzy Wuzzy

Marin is a SOUND sleeper!  She sleeps through all kinds of loud thunderstorms, and for the most part has always been a pretty good sleeper.  She sleeps at least 11-12 hours at night and this morning she slept even longer and woke up with this crazy hair!  Needless to say she felt good after such a hard sleep!

Fun Day

Marin and I went to the Botanical Gardens on a beautiful morning and played around and took some pictures.  She loves her "so sweet" pose... a little too much sometimes!  The rest of the day was not going to be much fun because my car had to be worked on.  But Daddy surprised us and came and picked us up for lunch.  That afternoon he took Marin to Moss Rock while I went to the gym.  Then we went out to eat, so it turned out to be a pretty fun day after all!
